FA Play Safe Weekend is 30th September & 1st October
Hunts Youth League is pleased to say that we have signed the pledge and are taking part in The FA Play Safe Weekend on 30th September & 1st October. This weekend is to highlight Safeguarding at the forefront of everything that we all do within clubs and leagues.
This year’s Play Safe weekend has two main messages:
• ‘Everyone, everywhere, every time’ should have an understanding of safeguarding in football;
• Everyone should ‘watch, listen, talk and act’ if they have any safeguarding concerns.
If you have a safeguarding concern, or would like some advice, the person to contact at Hunts Youth League is League Welfare Officer Marina Howlett 07951 760481
All clubs should have received their promotional items direct from the FA and we ask that every team captain wears the armband supplied specially for the weekend and that all coaches also wear the pin badges provided.
