Steve Fahey has been rewarded for becoming the CSSFL's top league goalscorer.

He was presented with a new pair of Puma Kings aswell as a Golden Boot trophy by League sponsor Keith Carne of KC Sports, Cromer House, Caxton Way.

His haul of 39 goals in total included 37 league goals, it was consolation for him after they lost out on the Division Two title to SCS on goal difference, against whom he scored both goals in what turned out to be a crucial 3-2 defeat in February. Back in November, he banged in four against SCS in a 7-3 win. His best haul was when he hit all five in their 5-2 win over Emperors Head in February and he also got all four in a 4-2 win over Mallard Old Boys in April and a hat-trick in a 4-0 win over the same opponents in February. Three more hat-tricks came in the 4-1 win over Chequers in December, an 8-3 win over North Herts Celtic in September and a 4-3 win over Roebuck Gate in the opening day of the season.
