John was one of the Most Dedicated People you could meet for his tireless work over the Years in Grass Routes Football.

Amongst his Duties in Football were Class One Referee, Div 4 Representative for Berks & Bucks covering The East Berks Saturday League and the Bracknell & District Sunday Football League, Chairman then Vice President of the East Berks.

In his later years, John assessed Referees for Berks & Bucks, and we are sure that 90% of our Referees today have been given constructive advise over the years from John, who has given total commitment to the Referees Association with his tireless work.

John was also involved with the Fielden Cup and not forgetting his Role in doing the Presentation at our own Cup Finals Senior and Junior a regular Ambassador for the Berks & Bucks up and till last Season .

All in all a very sad loss that a True Gentleman totally dedicated to all Football will no longer be around.
