A pulsating match in front of a great 220 supporters ended in a penalty shoot out won by Clevedon Town

This was a remarkable end to a great year for both clubs. The match itself was fast, furious and very skilful. Clevedon Town scored early on from a disputed penalty. Not to be downbeat Paulton Rovers came storming back and more often held the advantage from a very fit and powerful Clevedon squad. At the break the score was 1-1. A big battle ensued in the second half but neither side could be breached and so it went to penalties. Clevedon boys held their composure a little more that Paulton lads and so won the Cup. A great big well done to both squads who showed all those present what the League is all about and that it works!
