Following the successful launch of the West Riding County FA's U21 Floodlit Midweek League based at Knottingley High School, preparations have been made to expand the league for the 2009-2010 season...

The League will operate 2 divisions on a central venue basis using the following facilities:

* Knottingley High School, Wakefield (Wednesday evenings)
* St John Fisher High School, Dewsbury (Wednesday evenings)

The season is to commence on Wednesday 26th August 2009. The 70 minute matches (35 minutes each way) are played on the full-size artificial 3G surfaces at each of the selected locations and qualified referees are allocated every week.

The cost to register a team in one of the leagues is £300 for the season. This one-off payment covers the affiliation, facility and referee costs for the entire fixture programme. Broken down, for a squad of 15 players, for the 14 matches (minimum), this equates to under £1.50 per player per game!
