MES Ltd First Division

PLCCFC forfeited their leadership of the MES Ltd First Division when being bowled over by in form Lottie Dod in an end-to-end encounter that resulted in a 4-1 victory. Cedric Mathe put Dod ahead but Carl Murphy levelled matters within a minute, then Alex Clarke restored the lead for Dod before the break. In the second half PLCCFC had the chance to level the scores but Dod’s keeper Kieren Lowe saved well. Shortly after, an attempted clearance by the PLCCFC keeper rebounded into the net off Alex Pitt to make it 3-1 and in the final minutes Tom Mulryan added the fourth for a well-earned success.

Taking over top spot are Trident who overcame Oldershaw FC in a ten-goal thriller as they won 7-3, with goals from Tom Rowlands-3, George Baker, Joe Thompson, Mike Davis and Michal Mocha. Liam Stephens, Thomas Clegg and Caston Ball-Lalemi fired the responses

Finnigan FC remain unbeaten following their battling 2-0 success over Wallasey Wanderers as Stuart Speed and Kevin Coles scored in each half.

A goal apiece from Callum Morrison and Jamie Payne gave Vineyard a 2-0 verdict against North West Harriers as they also retained an unbeaten record.

Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division

Action from the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division saw plenty of goals as Barnston FC edged home versus AFC Bromborough in a great 3-2 victory despite conceding for the first time. On target for the league leaders were Jamie Mitchell, John Albiston and Nathan Anderson-Bennett, with Kieran Hughes and Reece Williams claiming the replies.

Liscard Brazil got back to winning ways when beating Bromborough Athletic 7-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Jake Williams, a double from Luke Lampkin and singles from Jacob Cotgrave and Devin Jackson.

Also bagging seven-goals were FC Greasby who beat Cheshire Vikings 7-0 due to doubles from Dylan Sharpe and Kieran Davies, plus singles from Jack Cooper, Corey Casey and Phil Ashdown as they climbed the table.

AFC Shore Villa stay second after their 3-0 success over Park Royal as Jack Taylor, Dylan Wilkinson and Jamie Smith bagged the goals.
