Range Rovers Sports FC win the Len Waters League Cup Final on Wednesday evening and the final Division Three game gets played on Sunday with Leysdown FC falling at the final hurdle of the Kent Sunday Junior Cup

On Wednesday evening in front of a 150+ crowd Range Rovers Sports FC won the Len Waters League Cup Final 4-0 against Eastern Athletic FC. The game started nervy but Eastern had the best chances early on to go ahead but after 20 minutes Rovers started stepping up their game and took the lead after 38 mins through Connor Dolllimore to send Rovers into a half time lead. The second half Rovers started strongly and doubled their lead after 51 mins with a Rob Welling strike, then in a 5 minute burst from Rovers put the game beyond Eastern with goals from Lewis McCrory on 60 mins and Ross Frost on 65th minute to seal the win. On Sunday Red Hearts Athletico FC gained some revenge on Park Regis United FC with a last League game of the season with a 5-2 win, with Steve Curtis getting a hat trick and Tyrell Gebbie and Stephen Penman making it 5 with Kyle Shaw and Jim Lambert replying for Park Regis. Leysdown FC failed at the final hurdle of the Kent Sunday Junior Cup with Angels FC from Dover winning 3-1, after a nervy start Angels went ahead with a heavily deflected free kick but Jay Law equalised with a mazy run to make it 1-1 at the break. The Angels side went ahead straight from the break and added a third soon after Leysdown went down to 10 men with Paul Teague being sent off for what can be described as frustration but a spirited 10 men Leysdown had their chances but could not capitilize on their chances. League Secretary Mark Rogers said 'It was great to see a good crowd turn out on a Wednesday evening for our last final and it was a shame that Leysdown couldn't make the win but they have done themselves and the League proud'
