A possible new venture for the league being a 9-A-Side format league

At the league committee meeting last night a suggestion from Kim Farmer our Essex County Football Association Representative that there are several clubs outside the league that try as they might they can't obtain the 12 player minimum requirement to enter the league but could enter a 9-A-Side league if there was one available. After discussion it was decided to open this up to current league teams as well as any new or old teams or even players out there without a club that may wish to compete but with an allocation to a team for the duration of the league. With the proposed league starting in or around March 2020 we hope that this may encourage teams and players to grow and then take part in the current Essex County Women's football League at some later date.
