The win gives them additional goal difference which may help fight off the Plymouth Argyle late charge for the promotion spot.

Argyle put 6 past Swindon to move up the table whilst Chesham beat Forst Green by 2-0. Yeovil also won on Sunday scoring 3 without reply against Weston St John.

QPR are 9 points ahead with 1 game left to play, with only Plymouth able to overtake them with 5 games left to play. Plymouth face QPR again on 26 April at Brook House FC and QPR will need to improve on their 3-0 loss in March to make the most of their promotion chances in their last match of the season.

Chesham, Yeovil and Forest Green will also have a say in matters as they also face Plymouth in upcoming weekends.
