Passey/Triggs Trophy - Group A

Following the council decision to close all of their grass venues due to poor weather conditions, only one fixture took place on the 4G pitch at Pensby High School and saw PLCCFC lose their unbeaten tag in Group A of the Passey/Triggs Trophy when being stumped by New Brighton Town 4-1. The lone scorer for PLCC FC was Dan Hardman, but Town secured the victory due to both Greg Williams and Ellis Lamb scoring two goal each in a great team effort, but they finished outside of the knock-out stages.
