Last season?s top marksman, Lee Wilson carried on where he left off with a four-goal salvo and Lewis Robinson chipped in with a well-taken hat trick. Jamie O?Neill netted the villagers consolation. Double Four discovered their shooting boots as they overwhelmed Thorplands United
6-1 with former Nottingham Forest man Darren Poole helping himself to a threesome and Adam Whitmore grabbing a brace, leaving Kevin Fox to hit Thorplands reply. Harlequins head the Division after inflicting a first defeat of the season on Resource United courtesy of a double strike from Andy Condon and a solo effort from Ashley Fleming.

Hitec Roofline hammered Airflow Reserves 8-1 with Barry Streeton leading the way with a three-timer and he was well supported with further goals from Delroy Kilburn 2, Gavin Spencer, Matt Humphries and an own goal. All Airflow could muster was a solo strike from Pete Withrington. Delapre Old Boys recorded their first victory of the season by overcoming Thorplands United Reserves 5-2. Steve Brown and Owen Kingston were on target for Thorplands but a double strike from Grant Davidson and a goal a-piece for Luke Dickens, Dan Harris and Adam Barrett was enough to see Delapre home. James King Blisworth and Northants Police fought out a 2-2 draw with Scott Burton and Stuart Dense netting for Blisworth and Phil Dursley and Gavin Suttie doing likewise for the boys in blue. Ashley Rovers found themselves on the wrong end of a 7-1 thrashing from unbeaten Cotton Hill who shared their goals between Nathaniel Liburd 2, Neil Jarrett, Chris Gale, Andy Hopkinson, Scott Rogers plus an own goal. Chris Tebbutt scored Rovers reply. Far Cotton Loco returned to winning ways with a 5-2 success over bottom markers Harlequins Reserves. The much-travelled Ant Kirby netted twice for Loco to go with singles from Martin Cullen, Nathan Mason and Adam Holliman. The Quins retort came via Liam Davies and Ryan Johnson.

NORTHANTS LOWE JUNIOR CUP ? ROUND 1

Despite dominating most of the game Obelisk United went out to Ristee Towers by the odd goal in three. Russ Aitkin gave Obelisk a deserved first half lead and they looked comfortable until Ristee equalised with a 80th minute penalty and then struck with a late winner to leave Obelisk licking their wounds.
