Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division
The promotion battle at the top of the Moreton Alarms Supplies Second Division remains tight following victory for AFC Shore Villa who are now level on points with inactive AFC Bromborough. Villa took the spoils versus Park Royal in a very even encounter when winning 2-1 with goals from Robert Davies and Milan Shaw, with Matty Wilson netting the lone reply.
FC Greasby secured the points in a 6-0 defeat of Liscard Brazil thanks to Dylan Sharpe hitting a treble, Sam Macadam firing a double with Luke Steele completing the scoring in a good team effort.
The Cheshire Vikings versus Barnston FC fixture was postponed due to an unfit playing surface.
That also applied to the postponed Capitol Cup fixture between AFC Bromborough and Vineyard.
MES Ltd First Division
Action from the MES Ltd First Division saw Lottie Dod overcome North West Harriers with a 2-0 victory as Liam Pitt and Danny Andrew bagged a goal apiece.
Oldershaw FC edged closer to opponents Shore Villa when beating them 5-2 as Curtis Ledsom-Robinson and Tom Clegg both netted a brace and Caston Ball-Lalemi adding the extra goal.
Group C
One game in Group C of the Passey/Triggs Trophy resulted in Bromborough Athletic conceding double figures against their First division rivals Finnigan FC as Ben Speed fired a foursome and both Adam McCreevy and Adam Walker scored trebles in a dominant performance that sees them into the knock out stage quarter finals.
