FC United of Bolsover retained top spot, and their unbeaten record, in NAPIT ONE with a convincing win 5-1 at Creswell Black Diamond despite going a goal behind to a superb strike after 21 minutes from Scott Machin who lashed the ball home from 25 yards out. Creswell had the upper hand in the opening exchanges and the goal seemed to wake up Bolsover who drew level when Josh Parfitt saw his shot saved by home keeper Luke Russon but Adam Kimberley was on hand to fire home, after 25 minutes. Four minutes later Kimberley turned provider his corner was flicked on by Neil Grayson for Michael Blakely to slot home. Ten minutes before half time FC Utd pushed home their advantage and made it 3-1 when Parfitt slotted past the out coming Creswell keeper. Live wire Neil Ashley made it 4-1 within 5 minutes of the re-start when he drove home from the edge of the penalty box. Bolsover were in command now and the post saved Creswell when Steve Mansell effort struck it before Russon pulled off a full length save from Blakely before Parfitt got his second of the game, his seventh of the season and Bolsover’s fifth with a shot past the home custodian which flew in off the left hand post. Tibshelf Town were indebted to Steve Webster who scored twice in their narrow 4-3 victory against Newbold. Dean Bramley and Scott Vardy were also on target in a win that sees Town second in the table. Just behind them are FC Britannia who beat FC Brimington also 4-3. Hepthorne Lane were 3-1 winners at Clowne Wanderers, Joe Stone, Joel Holland and Jordan Lemon with the goals whilst Wingerworth BMB and Doe Lea drew 1-1, Morton scoring for Wingerworth, Poole for Doe Lea.

In TWO it was 'derby day' at Renishaw where Renishaw MW clashed with local rivals Renishaw Rangers. It was a close game which could have gone either way but in the end it was the hosts who prevailed by two goals to one, Danny Talbot and Luke Hatcroft with the match winning goals. At the top of the division are Britannia Rose who won for the fifth time in as many starts. Win number five came at Pilsley Community, Chris Graham and Declan Jenkins with the winning goals. FC Shoulder of Mutton's Mark Houghton was in top form, scoring a hat trick in a 4-2 win over Creswell Black Diamond Reserves, Steve McMahon adding goal number four. Dronfield Victoria picked up three valuable points thanks to their 2-0 win over Crown Killamarsh, Wood and Bradwell the scorers.

Red Lion Whitt Moor top THREE following a narrow 1-0 victory over New Inn Tupton, Whittaker scoring the only goal of the game. Grassmoor Sports brushed aside the challenge of Matlock Town Wanderers, easing to a 7-1 win over them. Ben Copestake was Sports talisman, scoring a quartet of goals, Steve Rodgers, Andy Woolvern and Natan Moulds also found the back of Wanderers net in the win. Birdholme Club took on Butchers Arms and were beaten by them 3-1, Dave Fedrick, Robbie Hardie and Lee Whetton, the Arms scorers. Brimington United bounced back from last weeks 11-1 mauling with a 5-0 win over Black Swan. Chris Marshall scored 3, Alex Howard 1 and Alex Wild with the pick of the lot and his first ever goal for the club.

Furnace Hill Hurricanes went on a scoring spree in FOUR. Putting nine past Brimington Arms. James Senior scoring four of them, Pete Stubley two. In stark contrast a solitary goal from Jamie Rigby was enough for Chesterfield Rangers to secure a victory over AFC Castle. Brimington Utd Shoes could have moved within a point of leaders Bolsover Town had they beaten Spartans but they were beaten by them 3-1, Craig Tromans scoring one, Ben Weaver two. Club FC won 2-1 at Gate Inn whilst Bridge Inn and AFC North Wingfield shared nine goals but not the points as Wingfield won 5-4. Jamie Vardy scored twice, Ricky Fullwood, Chris Collins and Josh Smitham once.

Bradley Nunn made the headlines in FIVE, hitting five goals for his Old Whittington MW side in their emphatic 6-0 win over Hasland Community. Hasland WMC entertained Spireite Pub and beat them 2-0 thanks to goals from Tom Boyle and Chris Hughes. Meanwhile table toppers Holmewood Park Rangers took on Dronfield Victoria and beat them 6-3. Rangers played some excellent football with target man Steve Adams and Craig Young in particular causing Vics all kind of problems. However this was a fine all round team performance which saw Young scoring, Darren Fantom and Micky Saville scoring twice and Ben Bartram once. There were also victories for Brimington Club who beat Barlow Kingston Rovers 5-0 and Woodthorpe Wanderers who beat Newbold CFT 4-1.

In SIX Black Bull Rangers maintained their 100% start to the season and the leadership with a 5-1 win over a brave Dronfield Town side who started the game with just eleven fit players and played for a large part of the game with nine players. Despite their troubles they battled bravely and gave Rangers one of their sternest test this season. Anchor Inn Clowne have also made the perfect start, winning all of their opening games, the latest a 5-3 success over Ye Olde Nags Head in which Ryan Edridge hit a superb hat trick. Markham Arms took on Blue Bell Bolsover and a very tight game which could have gone either way was decided by Paul Longstaffe's goal for Markham. Palterton Sporting Club suffered a 11-1 defeat seven days earlier but a vastly improved performance earned them a point in a 2-2 draw at Nags Head All Stars, Jamie Lockwood and Adam Sanderson scoring for Sporting, Mitch Dean and Scott Twynning for the All Stars. The final game of the day also ended honours even as Renishaw Rangers TFC drew with Spartans 2nd 4-4.
