95th consecutive season begins with a successful 6 a-side

The 95th consecutive season of the A.D.F.L. got underway on Sat Sept 5th with yet another successful 6 a-side Competition.
A different venue from previous years saw 12 teams enter with 2 divisions of 6 playing each other eventually leading to the Final of the 6 a-side Cup and the Cliff Allsop Shield.
Having lost 3 Clubs during the close season it was encouraging to welcome 3 new Clubs to the League this season, C.K. Andover, Over Wallop and Andover Lions Res.
With a general lack of interest nation-wide for a myriad of reasons the League was pleased to be able to enter its 95th season with 10 teams on board making it a very workable amount.
