All the action from Saturday's matches

As the weather finally relented, there were few casualties in the fixture list, with several teams playing their first football of 2016.
Black Dragon Badges North division leaders Glapwell were in action for the first time since December 5th , the long lay-off possibly being reflected in their goalless draw at Thorne Colliery, which brought an end to their ten match winning run. The chasing pack took advantage, all four of their nearest rivals taking maximum points. Phoenix completed a predictable win at Welbeck Welfare, coming out on top 5-1 with goals from Andy Jones, Steve MacDonnell, James Cregan, Rob Gorman and James Laughton, with John Jennings getting a very late consolation for the home side. Harworth Colliery travelled to Dronfield Town reserves, returning with the points after a 4-1 win. Tom Pick gave them the lead on the half hour, Chaz Bradwell levelling the score by the interval. Leigh Warriner put Harworth back in front, and after the home side had their captain dismissed, Blake Freeman and Kenzie Tomlinson ensured the win. It was also 4-1 at Askern where Appleby Frodingham kept their hopes alive with two goals from Joe Moloney, a Mark Anderson penalty and an own goal, Askern replying through Michael Attard. Ollerton Town’s winning run in the league now stands at seven after a 2-0 defeat of Retford at Walesby Lane. Kyle Clarkson’s 10th minute free kick got the home side off to a good start, Lewis Bingham adding the second just after the hour, as Ollerton avenged their League Cup defeat against Retford a few weeks ago. Brodsworth Welfare were another team playing their first match in 2016 and marked it with a 2-0 win at Bilsthorpe with Josh Dodd and Courtney Peynado the men on target.
The top two in the Black Dragon Badges South division opened up a bit of daylight between themselves and their rivals. Belper United were 3-0 winners against Hucknall Rolls Leisure with a Sam Vickers penalty, one from Alfie Holland and an own goal maintaining their one point advantage at the top of the table. Selston are hot on their heels, they saw off Linby Colliery 4-12 at the Parish Hall ground. The home side were three up by the 22nd minute, Ben Moore, Carl Moore and Joe Riley all finding the net, and although Ash Winfield pulled a goal back for Linby on 55 minutes, Tom Widdowson restored the three goal margin two minutes from time. Surprise result of the day was at Southwell City where new boss Tom McDonald marked his first game in charge with a 1-0 win over Hucknall Town. A Stewart Gill header on the hour condemned Hucknall to their fourth straight defeat since the turn of the year. An improving Collingham side were 3-1 winners in their home game with Clay Cross Town. Tomas Poole gave the Millers a 31st minute lead but the homw side were on level terms two minutes later with an Adam Stone penalty. Jordan Clucas gave Collingham the lead five minutes from the break with Jordan Wapplington’s stoppage time winner finally sealing the points. Top Scorers of the day were Blidworth Welfare who claimed their fifth successive league win by hammering Holbrook St Michaels 8-1. There were two goals each for Gaz Curtis and Max Curzon, the others being shared between Keenan Leeds, Jordan Harris, James Vickers and Tom Price.
Hucknall Town are now 13 points clear at the top of the YourFootballWorld.com reserve division. They stretched their lead with a 3-1 defeat of Mickleover RBL at Watnall Road. Rorie Smith scored two and Aaron Evans one, Jamie Sleigh on target for the Legion. A Max Cubbins hat-trick inspired Harworth Colliery to a 4-3 win over Swanwick at Scrooby Road, Alex Hawkridge also finding the net. Chris Turner, Gareth Ellis and Andy White were the Swans’ scorers. Holbrook Sports took maximum points, beating Eastwood Community 4-2 at Coronation Park. Callum Green, Niall Mather, Jake Dodds and Allan Hahn were on target for Holbrook, Matt Clowes and Jordan Leeming getting Eastwood’s goals. A Billy Davies goal was enough to give Pinxton the edge at Holbrook St Michaels.
