Needing just one point to clinch the runners-up spot in Division 4 of the Worcester & District Sunday League, Worcester City Wanderers completed their programme in style with a 5-0 win against Droitwich Spa Eagles Reserves. Steve Mason, Jordan Powell, Richard Wilson, Steve Smith and Darren Evans were on target for Wanderers. Brewers Athletic took third place after a 3-2 win at Trinity Sports, John Griffiths scoring twice.
In Division 5 Hornets Reserves needed to win at GDL Athletic Reserves to secure the runners-up spot. However they lost 3-1 with Mark Edwards hitting a hat-trick for GDL.
A fourteen goal thriller at St Johns saw Heenans win 8-6 to confirm second place in Division One. Darren Campbell and Mike Collins both fired trebles for Heenans with Chris Parker and Geraint James notching doubles for the Saints.
Premier Division champions WCT Raiders went down 4-2 at Arrow 2000 in their last match. Joe Edwards grabbed a hat-trick for Arrow, Chris Newman netting twice for WCT. Simon Vaughan bagged two for Perrywood who won 3-1 at Coppertops Athletic. Upton Snodsbury and Callow End played a double header with each team recording one win. Goals from Matt Tyler and Dave McManus gave Upton a 2-0 victory in the first match with Warren Leggett and Paulo Ribero on target as Callow End won 2-1 in the second game.
Nunnery Wood had a 4-2 success in Division 3 at GDL Athletic with goals from Steve Cahill, Alex Hill, Tom Davies and Reg Insall.
