News on U7 to U11
The fixtures for U7 through to U11 have been released for the first six weeks of the season (taking us up to Leicetsershire half term).
The plan is to review the results at the end of September and make amendments to divisions as necessary. The next tranche of fixtures will be released shortly after that (and will cover the period to the middle of November).
As with the older age groups, there are a couple of clubs who have not appeared on Whole Game System. Also, new teams at development levels are joining on a regular basis - so there will be some changes to the fixtures. (For this reason, it is important that you have manager details set up correctly in WGS that pull through to FA Full Time and that you verify your log-in - this will ensure that you recieve an email notification when details change.)
A huge amount of effort has gone into accommodating pitch share arrangements. Even so, because we have to cater for divisions of significantly differing sizes (as do our peers in the Mutual league) there will inevitably be some clashes. That said, as far as we can tell, there are no such clashes in this first tranche of fixtures. Nonetheless we would like to urge you to look ahead and identify any such problems for yourselves. If you identify such a clash and you are able to change a kick off time, clearly this is the easiest solution (but remember you must still inform the fixtures secretary of the new ko time). If that isn't possible, you will need to request a postponement in the normal way (at least a fortnight's notice please). Claiming a late postponement and citing a pitch share clash will not be a valid excuse and will incur a charge.
Any questions, please contact the league secretary (lwglsecretary@gmail.com) or fixtures secretary (lwglfixtures@gmail.com) - remember communication should be through your club secretary or chair.
Thank you,
David Gallagher
