The FAs national small-sided football competition, UMBRO Fives, is ready to launch for 2009, offering your team the chance to play at Wembley!

The FA, Norfolk FA, and UMBRO are now inviting local male and female teams to test themselves in the local heats, the start of your road to Wembley.

Could you be the next team to follow in the footsteps of County 5IVES very own ?Unicorns?, who last year made it to the National Finals at Wembley Stadium. They travelled to the home of football in the official England bus, before changing into their new Umbro Fives kit and running out to play on the hallowed turf, reaching the semi-finals stages in the process!

The details for the mens and womens local qualifying heats are as follows:

The winners of this stand alone competition, along with one lucky loser, will qualify for the regional finals in Peterborough on Saturday 6 June, with the winning teams progressing to the National Finals at Wembley on Saturday 20 June 2009.

The closing date for entries is Friday 3 April 2009. Spaces are limited to 15 mens and 5 womens teams and will be strictly allocated on a first come first served basis. So again, get in quickly to avoid disappointment!
