Summary of the action from Week 16 of NTU's Bundesliga 5-A-Side competition

Week 16 kicked off with the sole competitive fixture being played in the 2. Bundesliga. As expected the game went with form as Bigshot United picked up a comfortable 11-1 win against The Best Choice Boys. The only other game that took place involving teams from 2. Bundesliga was the friendly game between Ivory Toast and Sapphic United, with Sapphic coming out on the right side of a 7-5 scoreline.

The Bundelisga was also characterised by games and scorelines that went with league position. Inter de Nott racked up their biggest win of the year as they beat Cheers United 16-0, whislt 5 Elite made up for their 4-4 draw earlier in the season against The Chaps with a 6-1 victory.

ASE scored double digits for the fourth time this season in beating Harpins Boys 10-2, before Always On Top got a 3-0 win against an understrength Ay Bird FC. For the second time this season Token Hotspur pushed CC Cosmos close, losing 6-4, whilst NTU ISOC became the only team to buck the top half beating bottom half trend as they trimuphed 4-3 against LEX FC.

Baines On Toast came close to emulating this feat as they surprisingly drew 3-3 with CYPS, and the day ended with Ginellies extending their unbeaten record with a 6-2 win against Exeter Gently.

Week 16's Team Of The Week award goes to Bigshot United as their 11-1 win against The Best Choice Boys moved them to the top of the 2. Bundesliga table for the first time in their history.

Week 17 should see the retrun of a full compliment of 12 games played in the Bundesliga's. Highlights are the 2nd vs 3rd clash between ASE FC and CC Cosmos in the Bundesliga and the debut of new boys Don't Look Back In Wenger against Bigshot United in the 2. Bundesliga
