A goal of quality on 90 minutes that was good enough to win any game saw FC Britannia maintained their 100% record against FC UTD of Bolsover in ONE. It was Jamie Foster who lined up the winner with an exquisite 25 yard free kick after the teams were deadlocked at a goal each.
This eagerly awaited NAPIT ONE saw top of the table FC UTD of Bolsover seek to defend their unbeaten run and they got off to an energetic start on a rain swept morning but the threat of Nathan Whitehead combined with the liveliness of Callum Lytham saw Britannia take the lead after 20 minutes the ball fell to Whitehead on the edge of the box and his clinical low drive went through a crowd of players into the Bolsover goal.
This early lead was slightly harsh on the home side and they deservedly equalised just 7 minutes later it was Jack Weaver who crossed off the left and having first appeared to have got the ball under control ‘Brit’ keeper James Bradbury fumbled it and the ball fell agonisingly backward over the line and into the goal.
Nico De Giralamo nearly restored the visitors the lead again before half time, his first was a shot well saved by home number one Ryan Hopkins and then just moments later the keeper saved from the same player's sharp header.
The second half started with an early scare for both sides Whitehead fired inches wide for FC Britannia and then Weaver for Bolsover saw his cross beat Bradbury but strike the bar. The game was opening up as both teams went for the winner but it was the visitors who looked the most likely with Whitehead twice going close to the target.
The winner finally came with 90 minutes on the clock, FC Britannia being awarded a free kick 25 yards out and Foster quietly eyed up the goal and then took his cue to sweep home a glorious strike into the Bolsover goal. With 5 minutes of injury time to play there was a nervous visitors bench screaming for the referee to blow up for time but they need not have worried as most of the threat still came from their side indeed Lytham tested the keeper from 10 yards but Hopkins saved well.
FC UTD of Bolsover remain top of the table but the visitors are now just one point behind with two games in hand on their rivals. In third place are Tibshelf Town who themselves are enjoying an excellent season, enhanced by a 2-1 win over West End Killamarsh in which Dean Bramley and Craig Hinchcliffe scored. Wingerworth BMB were also winners, their victory coming against Hepthorne Lane, Tristan Brown scoring twice, Ryan Ordidge and Tom Poole in a 4-1 win. Clowne Wanderers took on Creswell Black Diamond for the second time in seven days and got revenge for their 3-0 defeat at Creswell with a 3-1 home win, James Summers scoring twice, Josh Madin once. Newbold visited FC Brimington in the divisions other game and beat them 5-0.

Renishaw Rangers are up to second place in TWO following a comprehensive 5-0 win at Brampton Rovers JMA. Antony Dean and Ryan Kasprzycki both hit doubles in the win with Karl Knowles adding goal number five. Renishaw MW also won, their success coming at the expense of Creswell Black Diamond Reserves, Jamie Plewecki scoring twice, Luke Hatcroft and Dan Talbot once in a 4-2 score line. Jordan Ide grabbed himself a hat trick in Clowne Wanderers Reserves 4-0 win at Pilsley Community whilst an Ant Lyman goal proved to be enough to earn FC Shoulder of Mutton a win over Hollingwood Athletic.

THREE leaders Grassmoor Sports suffered only their second defeat of the season on Sunday with a 4-2 reverse against New Inn Tupton who move up to third place on the back of the win. Josh Burrow scored twice in the win, Matt Towndrow and Alex Sturman once. Sports still lead the division but only on goal difference from Red Lion Whitt Moor who join them on eighteen points following their 8-3 drubbing of Brimington Utd in which Chris Cave scored a hat trick, Keeley two, Linacre, White and an own goal. Brampton Rovers Conner Martin hit a treble in a closely fought 4-3 win against Birdholme Club, Joe Bayne scoring goal number four whilst Brampton Oak Sports beat Black Swan 3-0 and Matlock Town Wanderers drew 2-2 with Badger.

In FOUR leaders Brimington Utd Shoes fine season continued with an 8-1 stroll against Club FC. Mark Mowbray and Andrew Moseley both hit hat tricks in the win. Likewise Bolsover Town are flying, Josh Nichols scoring three times, Luke Knightly, Steve Yates and Liam Richardson once in an excellent 6-1 win at Spartans. Pete Stubley certainly has an eye for goal and on Sunday he scored four times for his Furnace Hill Hurricanes side, Leigh Crofts once at Chesterfield Rangers. However Rangers replied with five goals of their own, Liam Parker scoring twice, Louis Develin, Billy Radford and Luke Jackson once. Luke Manlove and Andy Taylor both scored twice as Brimington Arms won 7-1 at AFC Castle whilst goals from Chris Collins, Mark Crain and Mike Harris earned AFC North Wingfield a close 3-2 win over neighbours Gate Inn.

Old Whittington MW are the new leaders in FIVE following a solid performance against Newbold Community Football Training which saw them win 5-1. Regular scorer Bradley Nunn was on target twice more as was Ryan Preece with Damon Bannister adding goal number five. Holmewood Park Rangers took on previous leaders Glapwell Gladiators after suffering a recent dip in form and bounced back in style as they inflicted what was only Gladiators second defeat of the season which has come in the space of seven days. Veteran Steve Addams opened the scoring as Jay Richie and Brad Walker also scored as Rangers ran out 3-1 winners. Barlow Kingston Rovers looked dead and buried with just four minutes remaining in their game against Spireite Pub trailing as they did 3-1. Brad Rhodes opened the scoring early for Rovers but goals from Ryan Hutchinson who scored twice and Craig Walters looked to have secured the win for the Spireites but Rhodes and Richie Yoshikawa scored in the final minutes to secure Rovers a point. Woodthorpe Wanderers also won, beating Hasland Community 2-0.

SIX leaders Anchor Clowne made it ten wins from ten games but opponents Nags Head All Stars caused more problems than most of Anchor's previous ones before eventually losing 3-1. Once again it was Ryan and Jordan Edridge on the score sheet for Anchor, Ryan scoring twice, Jordan once. Will Holmes and Alex Sanderson both scored twice as Palterton Sporting Club thumped Renishaw Rangers TFC 8-1 whilst Ashley Dodds scored a hat trick for Markham Arms who beat Spartans 2nd 5-1 and moved up to second in the table in the process. Blue Bell Bolsover bounced back from the previous week's drubbing to earn a very creditable 2-2 draw at Dronfield Town for whom Aaron Carrington scored twice. Josh Watts scored both Blue Bell goals.
