The NDSFL expansion now needs more Match Officials
Referees Needed to sustain growth.
With the sad demise of the Hinckley Sunday League, the NDSFL has accepted 12 Hinckley teams into membership, which together with 13 NEW teams from Bedworth & Nuneaton, sees the NDSFL expand in size by 65%. This influx of teams, bringing the League playing strength up to 64 Teams, whilst at the same time adding an additional fifth division, hence our plea for NEW Referees.
The NDSFL can offer a HIGH grade of football from the Premier Division down in its 5 divisions, together with 2 Open Cup Competitions, Divisional and Charity Cups.
So, if you are an experienced Referee, or one just starting on the road to your FIFA badge, as one of our own Stuart Attwell (below) achieved, the NDSFL can offer you the opportunity, and variety, together with inter towns derby's at all levels, with teams from Bedworth, Hinckley, North Warwickshire, and Nuneaton competing most Sundays.
Look at our League Website, to see what the League is about, the support we can offer all parties, Clubs, Players and Officials in ensuring everyone enjoys the game we all love.
Interested in becoming one of the family of Referee's, and you can offer some of your time each month, contact our Referees Secretary – Ivor Watkins for a chat to discuss what opportunities available. The League programme starts on August 22nd 2021.
