The game of the day in NAPIT ONE saw the top two sides clash in a game that was vital to both teams title aspirations. Leaders Hasland Devonshire took on Hepthorne Lane, who began the day just two points behind their opponents, however ninety minutes later that deficit had increased to five as Devonshire won by five goals to two. Lee Clay, Chris Betney, Danny Claridge, Danny Mason and Neil Ashley's goals proved to be 'Lanes' undoing. A solitary Matt Robson goal was the highlight of a low key affair at Doe Lea, securing his Clowne Wanderers side all three points on offer.

In TWO New Whitt beat ten man Dronfield Victoria 2-1 to move above Clowne Wanderers Reserves into second place behind FC United of Bolsover. Victoria's Chris Gambles saw red which helped New Whits cause who as a result of the victory are six points adrift of Utd.

THREE leaders Renishaw MW were inactive and Oaks FC took advantage by beating Red Lion Whit Moor to move into second place behind them. It was nip and tuck for most of what was a close fought affair but Oaks just shaded the game, winning by three goals to two, Dean Duquemin scoring twice for the winners, Liam Roberts once. Third placed Newbold eased to a six goals to nil win over Brimington Utd with Dan Keenan hitting two goals for the winners. Added to his strikes were goals from Ben Copestake, Callum Dovison, Jake Sindall and Ben Townsend. There was little to choose between Hollingwood Athletic and opponents Pilsley Community as both sides had to settle for a point as their encounter finished all square at two goals each. On target for Athletic were McTighe and Holmes with Barksby and Wright reciprocating for Pilsley. Gary Siddall, Alex Sterman and Max Minshall found the net for New Inn Tupton who beat Hady Villa by three goals to one in the division's other game.

Brampton Oaks Sports moved to within a point of FOUR leaders Crown Killamarsh following their three goals to two victory at Brampton Rovers, whilst Crown were held to a 1-1 draw by Butchers Arms. Sports David Brent scored twice in their win, Dan Chapman once. Club FC beat Old Whittington MW by six goals to two, the Whittington cause not helped by the fact they conceded two own goals along with further goals from David Gibson (pen) Dale Hegarty, Conner Scott and Jack Day. In a seven goal thriller at Castle Leisure hosts Brimington Utd Shoes were just edged out by New All Inn who beat them by the odd goal in seven, Luke Manlove hitting a treble for the winners.


Several key players were missing for FIVE leaders Renishaw Rangers as they took on an impressive looking Gate Inn North Wingfield and it showed as they came back from trailing at half time to a Gary Gilthorpe penalty to win by two goals to one. Paul Longstaffe levelled for Rangers before John Parsons netted the winning goal. Grassmoor Sports stay second after they beat Harleys Scarlets by three goals to one whilst Bolsover Town won by four goals to one at Gardeners Clay Cross to remain in third place. Jordan Parsons and Steve Yates were on the score sheet for Town with Liam Richardson scoring the other two winning goals. Dronfield Wanderers had the perfect opportunity to move off the foot of the table as took on second bottom Barlow Kingston Rovers and they took it by beating them by four goals to one. Royal Oak Rangers took on Glapwell Gladiators at Hillstown and beat them by three goals to nil with Jed Ellis, Dominic Clarke and Dean Heywood scoring to move them up to fifth in the division.

SIX side Lockoford Inn's search for a first win of the season continued as they were thrashed by Evolution who beat them 9-0 and as a result moved to the top of the division. Evolution only accrued fourteen points in the whole of last season and this victory saw them move on to thirty-three this time around with two games remaining, however second placed Whitecotes Wanderers are just a point behind them with two games in hand. Much of Evolutions success owes a lot to the form of Harry Oakley who's four goals took his season's total onto twenty-one. Castle Arms 6-3 defeat to Hasland Community Eagles leaves them with just one victory in their last seven games and sees them slip to second bottom. Adam Plant was on top form for the Eagles, scoring a hat trick in the victory, Marcus Allen scoring twice, Shane McCarthy once.

Ryan Parsley and Kieron Clarke both hit trebles as Darley Dale Red Star hammered Dronfield Town 10-0 to keep up the pressure on SEVEN leaders Brimington Club. Also on target were Tom Ford, Joshua Raybold, James McDonald and Dan Slater for Red Star. For their part Club kept up their winning ways with a straightforward 6-1 victory over New Bolsover Social Club with Reece Nuttall scoring a hat trick plus one in the win. Newbold Community Football Training's promotion surge continued with a fine 5-0 win at Ye Olde Nags Head with Josh Bennett scoring twice, Antony Brown, Nathan Fisher and Ryan Malkin once. Although the other three results in the division were clear cut this was not the case in Spartans 2nd game at Britannia Tupton which ended all square at two goals each.

Two games took place in the Dey and Co Alma Cup and required extra time to decide the outcomes. Creswell Black Diamond Reserves took on Crispin Casuals and the game was deadlocked at 1-1 after ninety minutes with Casuals upping the anti in extra time to win by three goals to two, an outcome which was mirrored in Matlock Town Wanderers clash with Wingerworth BMB with the latter going through to the next round.

One game in the Chatsworth and it saw AFC North Wingfield win 2-0 at Britannia Rose, Matt Towndrow and James Senior with the winning goals.

Finally in the Hutson Cup a Tom Torrington goal decided the outcome of the game between Furnace Hill Hurricanes and Hasland WMC in Hurricanes favour.
