The first of our 3 Cup Winners were...

In the early 09:30 ko the Boys contested the Under 14's 11-a-side Cup Final with Leyburn United picking up the Cup with a 3.0 over Catterick Garrison Football Centre. United had much the better of the first half and could have had more than a goal lead at HT. However The Garrison came at them in the second and were unlucky not to draw level but United took advantage of the space at the back to score a couple of late goals - one a pile driver from outside the box.

The Girls' Under 12's Cup Final was the first ever of in this age group in the league. Richmond Town were strong on the day producing some fine goals while Leyburn United suffering injuries to key players to amke life difficult for them. United had their chances in the second half and if one had gone in it could have been a different story - but it's Town's Cup and well deserved too.
 
The final Cup Final of the day kicked off at 12:00 with the Boys' Under 12's entertaining the crowd with a strirring 7-a-side Cup Final:  Catterick Garrison Under 12's scored first with a nearly strike only for Leyburn United A to level with a fine opportunist's goal. It was an end to end game with The Garrison making the most of their chances running out comfortable winners in the end 4.1. Well done to United for their never say die spirit.
