A roundup of all the action from yesterday's matches

It was an important afternoon in the Black Dragon Badges South division with four of the top five pitted against each other. Eastwood Community and South Normanton Town faced each other at Coronation Park and it was the Derbyshire side who came out on top by two goals to one. The Shiners got off to the best possible start going in front courtesy of a 2nd minute own goal. It remained that way until five minutes from time when Tom Lewis converted a penalty to double the lead. Three minutes later Jack Smith pulled a goal back, also from the penalty spot but it proved too little too late. The score was the same at Debdale Park where Sherwood Colliery took the points against Hucknall Town. Again there was an early goal as Jordan Harris put the Wood ahead with eight minutes played. Matt Brian put the teams level on 55 minutes but Sherwood had the last word thanks to Liam Theakstone’s goal ten minutes from the end. Meanwhile leaders Selston reeled off their sixteenth win of the season, seeing off the challenge of Blidworth Welfare 4-0. Dominic Airey put Selston ahead on 16 minutes, the other goals coming in the second half from Kane Hempshall, a Ben Moore penalty and Sean Gregory. A youthful Matlock Town Reserves side ran amok at Mickleover RBL winning 6-0. Tom Savage and Billy Whitehead both scored twice, with Jordan Lee and Ethan Knowles, who only turned 16 a couple of weeks ago, also on the scoresheet. Southwell City’s Dalton Stephens scored twice as his side beat Teversal Reserves 4-2 at Bishops Drive. Malaki Eshhelby and Chris Bowles were City’s other scorers with Joe Geeson and Brad Newby replying for Tevie. A goal either side of half time from Aidy Harris inspired Linby Colliery to 4-0 win over Keyworth United whose 12 match losing streak stretches back to mid-October. Kye Pilmore put Linby ahead on 34 minutes before Harris’s brace and a Gaz Atkins penalty rounded things off eight minutes from time.
Leaders of the Black Dragon Badges North division FC Bolsover dropped points in their home match with Askern. After missing an early penalty, Bolsover fell behind in the 43rd minute as Alex Rennie converted a spot kick for the visitors. A third penalty was put away by Josh Scully twenty minutes from time, Bolsover then took the lead through Daniel Russell but Askern retaliated, Josh Gelder's equaliser gaining them a point. AFC Bentley seem to be unstoppable at the moment, they picked up their ninth win in ten matches at home to Harworth Colliery, Brad Maddison scoring both in their 2-0 win. Retford move up to fourth spot following a 5-0 home win against Dinnington Town. Will Tomlinson got the day’s only hat trick, with Arron Blakey and Luke Tong also among the goals. Thorne Colliery gave Newark Town a jolt when they went two up in the first half through Austin Hallam after 5 minutes and and Kevin Lynch on the half hour. Newark pulled one back thanks to Andy Smith before the interval and rallied in the second half with Dom Swingler scoring twice and Jordan Thomas converting a penalty to make the final score 4-2. Appleby Frodingham halted their recent slide, picking up a welcome three points by beating Welbeck Lions 4-1 at Brumby Hall. Frod led with goals from Callum Cutillo on 35 minutes and Joe Pound a minute before half time, and added two more as Joe Cowling and Fabio Snow extended the lead. Dan Murdock got a consolation for Welbeck two minutes from the end. Tideswell United made the long trip to Collingham and returned home with a comfortable 5-1 win under their belts. Alex Airey (2), Matt Brown, Anthony Hunter and Cavan Campbell did the damage, Jackson Buckthorp the Collingham goalscorer. The match between Bilsthorpe and Phoenix finished goalless.
Sherwood Colliery still top the YourFootballWorld.com Reserve division despite suffering their first league defeat since the opening game of the season. Their conquerors were Hucknall Town who were 2-0 winners at Watnall Road putting them four points behind Sherwood. Hucknall’s scorers were Linfield Jenkins and Elliot Christie. Doubles from Max Rowbotham and Sam Brown and a goal from Olamide Ajewole gave Radford a 5-1 win at Belper United for whom Adam Dring was the scorer. Holbrook St Michaels beat the weather to stage their match with Swanwick and were rewarded with a point in a 2-2 draw. Scorers were Luke Masters and Sam Williamson for Holbrook, David Robinson getting both for the Swans. Linby Colliery defeated Holbrook Sports 3-1, the goals coming from David Buckley (2) and Will Horton.
