Late Bloma seals Oakley win

After only two matches, Oakley are the only Division 1 side with a 100% record. On Sunday they took on Tron, themselves coming off a 5-1 win in their opening game. Oakley took the lead early on, with a strike from Samie Aldoori, but David Parry equalised for the visitors. Substitute Dan Bloma put Oakley 2-1 ahead by the break, but Nathan Rae equalised at 2-2 before Bloma grabbed the winner, 3-2. An even match, as the scoreline suggests, but Oakley just edged it.

Dayers Fine Foods were in front all they way through their home match against FC Basing, but this pretty scrappy game ended a point apiece in a 4-4 draw. Dayers led 2-0 at one point, before Basing levelled, then swapped goals through to the end. Joe Hill chalked up a hat-trick, with Jordan Wainright getting the fourth for Dayers. FC Basing's goals came from an own goal, Daniel Belcher, Matthew Osborne, and an equaliser with three minutes to go by Jack Barrett.

Basingstoke Royals' first half possession at FC Everest led to only a single goal, after good work on the left by Amit Bhuller before Stephen Horton laid the ball off to Jamie Grove to fire into the top corner of the net. FC Everest were unable to close this deficit in the second half, before Steven Price nodded in a cross from Craig Barker to double Royals' advantage on 70 minutes. Everest came more into the game at the end after Royals' defence relaxed, but never threatened to alter the final 0-2 score.

Republic of Chineham were cruising, two goals ahead coming up to the break, with goals from Lewis Harris and Ben Nicholls, but Ashley Elward pulled one back for Wheatsheaf on the stroke of half-time to go in 2-1. At the start of the second half, Nicholls' second strike extended the home side's lead to 3-1, before Carlos Gonzalez reduced the deficit once more with a penalty kick. It was Trent Barrington's shot from 35 yards out, which arrowed straight into the corner of the net to equalise 3-3 and snatch a point.

Basingstoke Saints took the lead after 20 minutes at Soldiers Return, when Walter Ndoro ran onto a sweetly clipped ball from midfield and executed an excellent finish in the top corner, a great reward for his effort throughout the match. However, in the last five minutes of the first half, Soldiers scored twice to snatch the lead. Firstly, Cobi Judd was set up to strike home by Jamie Galpin, then Galpin headed across goal for Stuart Cubbage to head in the second goal. After half-time Soldiers were the more dominant side, with Frederick Cloke burying what Saints called a harsh penalty, and Judd added his second goal with a curling shot from the edge of the area. Although Soldiers Return won 4-1, the match was closer than the scoreline suggests.

Affini Technology now top Division 2 after a 1-3 victory at UWS. Affini's goals included a brace from Nick Jupp.

Revolution are second in Division 2, also on 100% after a 1-3 win at Hampshire Irons.

Eastrop Eagles won 4-1 against Bramley United. The visitors had a chance to get back in the game, being awarded a penalty when 1-0 down, but Dean Ridgers missed the target. Bramley were still only 2-1 down at the interval, but were unable to get back in the game, while Eagles took full advantage and deserved the points.

North Warnborough were all at sea in the first half, with visitors Chineham playing well and deserving their 0-3 half-time lead, the goals coming from James Harvey, Chris Smith, and Kieron Alleyne, The second-half was more even, with Chineham's Kevin Ridyard unfortunately putting into his own net to give the home side no more than a consolation in a 1-3 defeat.

FC Benidorm of Stoke had the best result of the day, beating their Division 3 rivals Soldiers Return Reserves by 0-6. Josh Taylor scored a hat-trick, while Tom Green and Tom Langley added two of the rest.

Camrose Social top Division 3 on goal difference, after beating DG Athletic 4-2. The goals came through a brace for Christopher Waller, and singles by Adam Robinson, Aaron Burt, Paul Ralph, and Ashley Russell.

An even, scrappy game between Chineham Athletic and North Warnborough Reserves looked destined for a scoreless draw until the visitors grabbed an unexpected winner in the 87th minute.
