University of Northampton moved into second spot on the back of their 3-2 success over Double Four.

Rock bottom Harlequins Reserves sprang a cup shock on highflying Hitec Roofline with a 5-1 beating. Young striker Dean Wilkinson netted a hatrick and Jack Corrigan helped himself to a brace for the Quins leaving Wayne Lancaster to score for a shell shocked Hitec. Far Cotton Loco were too strong for James King Blisworth ?A? easing to a 6-1 victory. Barry Swallow was Loco?s hero netting a four timer to go with one a-piece from Craig Curran and James Brook. The villager?s consolation came via Phil Sullivan. It took extra time to decide the outcome of the Ashley Rovers ? Cotton Hill tie with the Cotton boys eventually winning 4-2. Martin Hayward and Jamie Bernham found the target for Ashley, however a double for Neil Jarrett and singles from Chris Gale and Dirk Camplin ensured Cotton Hill?s progress into the next round. In a high scoring game Obelisk United outscored Delapre Old Boys 7-4 with the Obelisk goals being shared between Steve Healey 3, Russ Aitkins 2, Carl White and Jason Potts while Delapre replied with a John Cross threesome and a solo effort from Adam Barrett. University of Northampton Reserves got the better of Thorplands United Reserves 3-1 courtesy of a double strike from Mistery Mikesh and one from Tom Wood. Thorplands retort came from Ashley Alexander.

PREMIER DIVISION

For the second week running Harlequins were held to a draw, this time 2-2 by Airflow. Ashley Fleming and Glenn Moore struck for the League Leaders but single strikes from Ellis Ryan and Jay West earned Airflow a share of the points. University of Northampton moved into second spot on the back of their 3-2 success over Double Four. Darren Andrew and Wayne Baptist hit the target for the pub men but strikes from Carl Albon, Conrad Turner and Nathan Derry saw the students home. Bottom markers Asda George found some welcome good form as they coasted to a 5-1 triumph over Denton. Terrence Dunks led the way for Asda with a pair and was supported with singles from Ashford Campbell, Theo Sterling and Matthew Augustas. All Denton could muster in reply was a Tom Baker effort.

In a tight game all that separated Northants Police and Swan & Helmet was a single solitary goal converted by Sam Gardiner to give the Police a welcome three points in their quest to move up the table away from the relegation zone
