KINGSMEAD WIN CUP TROPHY
Kingsmead began their bid for a cup treble with a comfortable success against a plucky Heritage side.
A first half brace from Ben Parsons paved the way for Steve Barnes’ men, with two close range finishes giving them a cushion into the interval.
They added to it midway through the second half when Lee Burns’ header was steered home on the volley by Jack Wyatt.
Kingsmead defended stoutly throughout with Andy King rarely tested in goal as they gained revenge over a Heritage side that picked up two draws against them earlier this season.
The long serving side will try and add to their medal collection within 24 hours, as they take on Taunton side Hamilton in the Somerset Challenge Cup Final at Wells on Friday.
Credit to both clubs for a very sporting final in front of around 100 spectators at Twerton Park.
