A combination of the weather and the cup reduced the League programme across all three of the Everards Leicestershire Senior League divisions.

There were three games in the Premier Division. AFC North Kilworth moved up to third with a 6-2 win at bottom side Friar Lane & Epworth, a game which was really all over by the oranges as NK were 5-1 up at half-time. Taylor Sharpe scored a hat-trick for North Kilworth, Reece Hookway, Joe Williams and Brandon Beardmore also scoring, Isaac Bramley-Brown and Harry Hawkins for Friar Lane. Leicester Atletico moved up a place in mid-table after Hamdi Barreh scored the only goal of the game in their 1-0 win at home to Burbage & Huncote. Sileby Town had their game sewn up by half-time at FC Khalsa, eventually winning 6-3, Harry Warner with a brace, Jake Culverwell, Conner Packwood, Tom Pope and Mark Tinsley with the other goals, Shaun Ruzvidzo, Milton Tavares and Keyaan Adediran for Khalsa.

Only two games in Division One beat the weather. Hinckley LRFC Development dropped points in the title race as they were held to a 0-0 draw by St Patricks. The 3G pitch at Kirby came in useful, as Kirby Muxloe Reserves won 5-3 at home to Barrow Town, Lucca Watson-Quilter (2), George Houghton-Clarke, Patrick Musengwa and Ewan Lilleyman for Kirby, Josh Allen (2) and Mohamed Sesay for Barrow.

With Community Football Academy on League Cup duty, Brookside Athletic took advantage to return to the top of Division Two, as they won 7-1 at Highfield Rangers Reserves, Karl Duncan leading the way with a hat-trick, Jonathan Powell-Hayles bagging a brace, Ben Anstee and sub Shay Draycott also scoring, Joshua Richards scoring Highfield's consolation. Brookside go top on goal difference by one goal, but Community have a game in hand. Goals from Kyle Adams (2) and Ashton Whiley gave Loughborough a 3-2 win at Magna 73 Reserves, Mason Brown and Jack Horne for Magna, and in the basement battle at Riverside Park, it was Barrow Town Reserves who came out on top, winning 5-2 at home to Leicester United thanks to goals from Callum Armsden (2), Kane Clarke, Shay Howard and Jacob McGreevy, Jayden Haines and Connor Masters for Leicester United.

Two of the rescheduled League Cup games and the third round of the County Cups, plus the VEO Senior Cup quarter-final between Leicester Atletico and Sileby Town see Ramble Round the Cups take precedence next weekend, and Ramble Round the Divisions looks at five games in the Premier, as top dogs Desford host basement boys Friar Lane & Epworth, three games in Div1, including a relegation six-pointer between Birstall Reserves and Holwell Reserves, and three games in Div2. See you then.
