Just one game took place in ONE and it was certainly an intriguing one as bottom side New Whitt travelled to second from bottom Eckington Boys. At the start of play Eckington held a three point advantage over their opponents but had played three games more. A win for Eckington would have left New Whitt six points adrift at the bottom of the table. However in the event it was Whitt who turned on the style to run out victors, claim their first win of the season and switch places with their opponents in the table. Gary Morton was the main difference between the two sides as he caused Eckington all sorts of problems on his way to claiming a match winning hat trick, with Ben Townsend and Adam Dowling adding goals number four and five.

Woodthorpe Inn missed an excellent opportunity in TWO to close the gap on leaders AFC Bolsover when they slipped to a 3-1 defeat at Wingerworth BMB. Both sides finished the game with ten men, both having a player dismissed and it was the latter who scored twice late on in the game to claim the win. Sam Fairburn, Brown and Jerome Wilks hit the winning goals. The winner of the game between West End Killamarsh and Red Lion Whitt Moor was never in doubt as West End piled on the agony for bottom side Red Lion by blasting nine goals past them without reply. Gary Parsons was Lion's tamer as he hit four of his sides nine goals. Dronfield Woodhouse remain very much in contention for promotion as they won 3-1 at Brampton Rovers JMA to secure their their sixth win from eight starts, Kieron Loftus scoring twice this time around, Danny Sharpe once. Mid table Dronfield Victoria and Matlock Town Wanderers clash ended all square as Ponder and Wood's goals for Victoria were cancelled out by efforts from Cramp and Power.

In NAPIT THREE leaders Creswell Black Diamond and second placed Clowne Wanderers Reserves both recorded impressive victories, Diamond especially so as they outplayed and outclassed Ark Tavern to thrash them 8-1, Stacey Malarek and David Hall both scored twice, Danny Jackson, Danny Murdoch, Ashley Ruse and Sam Barker once. Wanderers were harder pressed but still came out on top winning 3-1 at AFC North Wingfield thanks to goals from Dale Rodgers who scored twice, Richard Cooper once. Pilsley Community and AFC Spital picked up a point each as they drew 2-2.

In FIVE fourteen goals flew in as Travellers Rest Clowne took on Brimwood Utd in a truly amazing game. Not only was the 9-4 score in favour of Travellers amazing but even more so was the fact that at the start of play and indeed at the end of play Utd are top of the division whilst Travellers are bottom! Travellers James Bundock began the game on the subs bench and certainly earned the super sub tag as he hit four of the winning goals on a day to remember for both him and the rest of his side. Not quite the fireworks of the above game in the clash between Palterton Sporting and Holmehall 1st where two Alex Wildman goals won it for Holmehall.

In SIX Evolution finally moved off the bottom of the table by beating Holmehall 2nd by four goals to nil and as a result Holmehall replaced them in the wooden spoon position. The scorers in what was only Evolution's second win of the campaign were, Liam Copling who hit a superb hat trick and Jack Hawick. At the other end of the table Brampton Rovers Reserves extended their lead over Fidlers Rest who were without a game to three points on the back of a 2-1 win at Renishaw MW thanks to two Scott Martin goals. Neil Hollingworth found the net twice for Furnace Hill Hurricanes who are third in a 3-0 win at Hasland Community as Adam Seward added goal number three whilst Dronfield Wanderers edged out Hasland Wanderers by three goals to two.

Charles Clay Cross Athletic closed the gap on SEVEN top dogs Brimington Shoes Utd to eight points with a 2-1 win at Grassmoor Sports Reserves. Dave Canning was on target twice for Glapwell Gladiators as was Liam Harrison as they beat Ye Old Nags Head 6-3 whilst Aaron O'Neil scored in the seventy-third minute of a low key affair between Squadron Medical and his Darley Dale Red Star side to earn Star the points.

In the Derbyshire Senior Sunday Cup the FC Britannia game against Hepthorne Lane postponed from the previous week took place and it was Britannia who triumphed 8-2, Nathan Whitehead in wonderful form, scoring five times along with Callum Lytham who hit the other three. AFC Bolsover won 5-3 at Woodland Wanderers thanks in no small part to another Josh Parfitt hat trick.

In the Junior New Whitt B beat Gate Inn a North Wingfield 2-0 Danny Lock and Tom Lowry the scorers whilst New All Inn beat Charlesworth and Chisworth 5-4 after extra time.
