Seven days previously Renishaw MW had joined leaders Killamarsh Juniors Athletic at the the top of the table on thirty points after a superb 2-0 win at defending NAPIT ONE champions Hasland but Hasland got their revenge when the two sides met again on Sunday. Had Renishaw won they would have gone clear at the top as Killamarsh were without a fixture, however in the event Hasland upped the anti to win 3-1 and keep their own title aspirations very much on track thanks to goals from Lee Clay who scored twice, Senior once. Hepthorne Lane and FC Britannia shared the spoils as their game ended level at 1-1, Heggarty for Lane, Chambers for Britannia as did the game between Clowne Wanderers and Creswell.
Tibshelf Town went top of NAPIT TWO last week but were inactive on Sunday which allowed New Whitt to move above them following a convincing 4-0 victory over Brampton a Rovers JMA. At the other end of the division Silver Birched secured only their seventh point of the season as their game with Wingerworth Barley Mow ended all square at two goals each. Barrow Hill MC moved up to third after they beat Ashover Vale for the second time in a week. Having won the first game 4-0 they won this one 3-1 with Aiden Ordidge scoring twice, Mark Hadfield once.
THREE leaders West Killamarsh lost for only the second time of the campaign, slipping to a 2-0 defeat at lowly Cresswell Black Diamond for whom Bleakley and Mills scored which allowed AFC Bolsover to reduce their lead to four points as they beat Hopflower Athletic 4-0, Josh Parfitt grabbing himself a hat trick with Shearan adding the fourth. Beechers Brook were trumped 6-0 by Red Lion Whitt Moor who are third. In a much closer affair a single goal was enough to seal the points for Matlock Town Wanderers at the expense of Hollingwood Athletic.
The leadership of Four changed with Dronfield Miners 1-0 victory moving them into pole position above AFC North Wingfield who didn't play, the all important goal being scored by Oli Wood. M Dillingham scored both Pilsley goals against Lowgates Sports which keep them in third place whilst J Reid-Aspley scored twice, R Rigley once as Brimington Park Colts beat Newbold to stay in fourth place. Steelmelters are fifth, New Whitt B sixth, the former beating Harley's Scarlets thanks to goals from jack Yeomans and Curt Birchall,the latter Spartans 4-3, Lock scoring three Shaw one with Tromans scoring all three for Spartans.
Clowne Wanderes Reserves grip on FIVE strengthened as they won 3-0 at Brimington Utd whilst second placed Hasland Community drew 1-1 with third placed North Wingfield MW. Wanderers led Brimington 1-0 at the interval, Boyle the scorer. However the division's bottom club battled bravely in the second half to restore parity before being undone by two late goals from Taylor and Cooper. Hasland took the lead mid- way through the second half following a defensive error but Wingfield levelled towards the end as the dangerous Ash Walters scored from close range with a clinical finish. Old Whittington MW were winners by a two goal margin, Eyre scoring twice Wilson once in a 3-1 win over Holmehall 1st.
None of the top three were in action in SIX but Fiddlers Rest went fourth thanks to their 3-1 win over Renishaw MW Reserves, Palmer, Ammisah and Wildmen scoring the winning goals. Hasland WMC beat Dronfield Wanderers 3-0 as Markham Arms beat Holmehall 2nd by the same score,Silcock, Gregory and Taylor on target.
Oxcroft Utd reduced Duckmanton Community's lead at the top of SEVEN to six points, with a game in hand, by virtue of a 3-2 win over Clay Cross Miners and Diners, Ashley Grayson scoring two, Nick Grayson one. Millington and Chambers both scored twice as Grassmoor Sports Reserves beat Dronfield Town 4-1. Finally Boot and a Shoe lost 4-2 to Grassmoor Gladiators, Dave Canning scoring twice , Pritchard and Browning once.
Some remaining cup games also took place with Whitecotes beating Brampton Rovers 6-4 in a ten goal Alma Cup tie, Steelmelters Arms winning 3-2 at Brampton Brewery in the Chatsworth and Crown Killamarsh beat Britannia Tupton by the odd goal in five in the Hutson.
