NAPIT ONE table toppers and second placed FC Britannia both recorded victories on Sunday with Britannia looking particularly impressive as they eased to a 5-0 win over winless New Whitt. Britannia dominated for long periods and thoroughly deserved to claim the three points with five different players amongst the goals, Will Harcourt, Dean Ledger, Nathan Whitehead and Callum Lytham. Leaders Devonshire had drawn their previous two games however Lee Clay and Jez Mitchell's goals against Hepthorne Lane saw them return to winning ways. Third placed Renishaw MW were involved in a closely contested affair with Clowne Wanderers, Danny Talbots goal deciding it in Renishaw's favour, likewise Tibshelf Town also won 1-0, a John Harris goal securing them a win over Creswell Black Diamond. The division's other game between Hopflower United and Eckington Boys ended in a 1-1 draw.


In TWO leaders AFC Bolsover and second placed Wingerworth BMB, like the top two in ONE both won, both teams scoring four times. For Bolsover it was a goal from Adam Dobbs but more importantly a hat trick from Josh Parfitt that paved the way for victory at Dronfield Woodhouse By a 4-2 margin. BMB's four goals came against a Brampton Rovers JMA and we're scored by Joe Newton two, Jerome Wilkes and Alan Walton one each. Red Lion Whitt Moor ran into an in-form Black Swan outfit who put six goals past them, Callum Gill scoring a couple in the victory. Grassmoor Sports recorded their first win of the season aaa the expense of Matlock Wanderers, Grant Mitchell registering a double.

New Whitt B's emphatic 6-1 win over Pilsley Sports was their fifth from five starts and saw them remain at the top of THREE. Whitt's main man was Dan Locke who hit a treble, Jack Yeomans added two more, Jamie Scott one. Creswell Black Diamond Reserves remain third after beating Ark Tavern 2-0. Hady Villa were held 2-2 at AFC North Wingfield and stay in fourth place. Clowne Wanderers Reserves are two places better of in second thanks to a brace from Matt Robson and a third from Aaron Taylor which saw them just edge out Steelmelters Arms Killamarsh. In another close encounter AFC Spital just beat Brampton Oaks Sports by the odd goal in seven, Rory White scoring twice in the win.

Club FC's quest for a first victory in FOUR continues after they were routed by Oaks FC by seven goals to nil. Josh Thomas had a great game for Oaks, rifling in three goals, Dean Duquemin helped himself to a couple whilst Craig Longmore and Chris Pashley completed the scoring. Newbold, New Inn Tupton and Oxcroft Utd, one, two and three all won. Newbold's success came against Crown Killamarsh whom they beat 5-3, Callum Davison scoring twice, New Inn beat Harleys Scarlets 3-2, Josh Harrison scoring all three and Oxcroft beat Hasland Community 4-3, Ashley and Nick Grayson both scoring twice. Also in FOUR Duckmanton Community and Gate Inn North Wingfield drew 1-1.

NAPIT FIVE is currently led by Brimwood Utd by five points following a 4-1 win over Palterton Sporting Club in which Robbie Price scored twice, Josh Nicholls and Jack Wynn once. Barlow Kingston Rovers beat Royal Oak 2-1, James Thornycroft and Scott Whitehouse on target, New All Inn and Brimington Utd drew 3-3 but Utd looked to be on course for a win before All Inn scored a dramatic leveller in the dying seconds however despite dropping the two points this is Utd's best start for three seasons. Renishaw Rangers and Travellers Clowne played out an amazing game which the former eventually won 6-4. Particularly of note was Stuart Grainger's four goals for the winners.

Brampton Rovers Reserves and Gardeners Clay Cross were first and second respectively in SIX at the start of play and their encounter proved to be a fascinating affair with both sides playing some excellent, controlled, passing football. Both sides enjoyed periods of dominance in the game but in the end it was Rovers who prevailed in no small part thanks to Scott Martin's excellent hat trick. Gardeners defeat enabled Fidlers Rest, who won 5-2 at Hasland Community Eagles to leapfrog them into second spot, Lloyd Amissah and Carl Germany both scored twice for Fidlers. Evolution had struggled all season prior to their visit to Holmehall 2nd but that elusive first three points were finally acquired thanks to Jack Warwick and Liam Codling's winning goals

Into SEVEN and it is Brimington Utd Shoes who lead Charlies Clay Cross Athletic on goal difference, though the latter have played six games as opposed to Shoes five which have all been won. Win number five came against Darley Dale Red Star with Mark Mowbray hammering a treble, Richard Rigeley a pair. Charlies latest success was achieved at the expense of glapwell Gladiators whom they beat 4-2. Squadron Medicals Rod Glover certainly has an eye for goal and his five in his sides 8-2 win over Renishaw Rangers took his tally to fourteen in just five starts. Spartans 2nds drew 3-3 with Grassmoor Sports Reserves and finally Newbold Community Football training were celebrating after goals from Andy Brown, Clarke Gilbert, Luke Wadsworth -Thurman, Danny Hodson and an own goal secured them a 5-3 win over Ye Olde Nags Head, three points and their first win as a NAPIT LEAGUE club.
