The wet weather saw several NAPIT games postponed but there was still plenty of action across the league and in ONE Hasland Devonshire returned to the top of the division following a 3-0 win at Hopflower United. Renishaw MW were top prior to Sunday's game but they were held to a 1-1 draw by Tibshelf Town. Pete Stubley, Lee Clay and Danny Claridge were the match winners for Devonshire and former Devonshire man Ant Lynam scored Renishaw's goal which was cancelled out by a John Harris goal for Town.

In TWO a rampant AFC Bolsover hammered Brampton Rovers JMA 7-1 to further enhance their grip on the leadership, the win keeping them five points clear. In Josh Parfitt and Daley Furness Bolsover have two goal scorers as good as any in the league and a hat trick for Parfitt and two for Furness in the game took their joint tally for the season to twenty-one the former scoring fifteen of them. Woodthorpe Inn are second after they won a real nail biter 4-3 at Matlock Town Wanderers, Mark Needham scoring twice, Dave Chambers and Ash Barber once, George Walker scoring a couple for Wanderers, Matt Mosley one. Dronfield Woodhouse, third and Grassmoor Sports, fourth both won easily 5-1. Dronfield's win came against Red Lion Whitt Moor whilst Sports beat Black Swan. On target for Woodhouse were Kieran Loftus, twice, Liam Mottram, Joe Marshall and Danny Sharpe whilst for Sports Joe Lambird, Ash Morton, Craig Purcell, Dean Spencer and Matt Scott found the back of Red Lion's net.

In THREE Clowne Wanderers Reserves moved to within two points of leaders New Whitt B, who didn't play, after goals from Brad Boyle, Luke Dickinson and Simon Straw beat Hady Villa. AFC North Wingfield and AFC Spital shared eight goals but not the points as Spital ran out 5-3 winners in an entertaining game. Billy Simpson hit two of the winning goals in only his second appearance for Spital, Jono Elliott, Mike Edwards and Alex Hall one apiece. The division's other game between Brampton Oak Sports and Creswell Black Diamond ended in a 1-1 draw, Dan Wainwright scoring for Sports.


In FOUR a tight game between Chesterfield Arms and Oxcroft MW failed to produce a winner as Mark Woods goal for the Arms was matched by an Ash Grayson goal for Oxcroft. The point however was enough to keep Arms second in the table. Up to third move Crown Killamarsh despite being held to a 3-3 draw by Club FC in another close game. Chris Bluff, Dean Gibson and Scott Hegarty scored for Club, Gavin Page, Greg Stephens and Simon Whitehead for Crown. Whist their was little to chose between any of the above sides this was certainly not the case in leaders Newbold's game with Hasland Community as Newbold were in rampant form, hammering Community 10-1, the second time Newbold have scored ten this season. Dan Keenan was in great form, scoring four goals and he was ably assisted by Callum Dovison and Roberto Marchetta who both score twice, Dan Chapman and Jordan Ragan once.

Brimington United continue their rich vein of form in FIVE after winning again. They are now unbeaten since the first game of the season. It was a tight game against Barlow Kingston Rovers as Utd went ahead in the first half through Alex McIntyre’s header, however Barlow leveled before half time to go in level at 1-1. After the break Barlow went ahead before Alex Howard equalized after an error by the Barlow keeper. As the game looked to be heading for a draw with just ten minutes to go Chris Marshall won it for Utd with an excellent volley from outside the box which rattled in off the post. Marshall has now scored for Utd in every game this season. Spartans began the season very poorly but have now won three from their last four games as they produced a fine display to beat third placed Holmehall 5-1, Dave Fawkes scoring twice, Craig Tromans, Simon Ross and Mark Crain once. Royal Oak Rangers came from behind three times at Travellers Clowne to win the game in the dying seconds.

Into SIX and the only game saw second placed Fidlers Rest make it six wins from six starts, a club record, as Carl Germany and Joe Palmer scored two goals each, Luke Carline adding goal number five in a 5-3 win at Gardeners Clay Cross.

The Brimington United Shoes team bounced back from last weeks defeat in SEVEN to maintain their grip at the top of the division. They brushed aside the challenge of Squadron Medical to stroll to a 9-0 win. The goals came thick and fast as strikes from Brendan Patilla, Chris Smith, Richard Rigley and then two each from Andrew Mosley, Daz Parkinson and Mark Mowbray sealed the win. Third placed Glapwell Gladiators were also easy winners as Dave Canning hit yet another hat trick to lead his side to an impressive 6-0 win over second placed Grassmoor Sports Reserves. Finally in a much closer game Rob Dale, Scott Oxley, Dean Bagley and Andy Jackson scored for Dronfield Town who just edged out Newbold community Football Training by four goals to three.
