Hasland's dominance of both the NAPIT LEAGUE and Derbyshire Sunday football in general was again confirmed on Sunday as the league title favourites won the county's premier Sunday cup competition the Derbyshire Senior Cup at Christchurch Meadow the home of Northern Premier League First Division South Belper Town. The opponents were Bank FC who like many before struggled against a Hasland side full of top Sunday League players such as thirty- three goal Lee Clay who inevitably scored. Former White Swan man James Senior found the net for the seventeenth time this season in the game whilst another former Swan man Pete Stubley also scored with an own goal completing Hasland's tally. Jermain Doyle and Ben Palmer did manage to hit the back of Hasland's net but their efforts were in vain as Hasland became Derbyshire Senior Sunday Cup Champions for 2013/14.

FC Britannia can now look forward to playing at the Proact Stadium in the final of the Dey and Co Alma Cup after they beat fellow NAPIT ONE side AFC Whitecotes in the semi-final at the home of Claycross Town on Sunday. The score line was 3-0 in Brits favour and was just about a fair reflection of the game. The match winners were Scully who scored twice and Whitehead.

The semi-finals of the Chatsworth Cup saw the two favourites West Killamarsh and Woodthorpe Inn prevail. West Killamarsh have been almost un- beatable in THREE as the strive for the title and Derbyshire Junior Cup runners up Woodthorpe Inn have performed similarly. Wests victory came against Steelmelters Arms Killamarsh and was won by five goals to three, an own goal, two Unwin goals plus a goal each from Edge and Woodhead. Woodthorpe beat Newbold 4-1, Lynam, Bower, White and Wall with the winning goals.

In one of the most one sided Hutson Cup Semi- Finals ever Crown Killamarsh romped to an impressive victory over Furnace Hill Hurricanes. Crown scored no less than ten times, Atkinson three times,Whitehead twice, Porter, Lester, Hackford, Page and Brown whilst Wilson scored twice for Hurricanes.

In the only game played in NAPIT ONE Creswell hosted Clowne Wanderers and in a tight contest it was Wanderers who came out on top, but only just, winning the game by the odd goal in five.

The ongoing saga that is the NAPIT TWO title race continues as leaders Tibshelf Town restored their four point advantage over New Whitt with a 4-1 victory at Ashover Vale, thanks to goals from Armstrong who scored twice, Vardy and Harris. Victory on Thursday night for New Whitt had closed the gap to one point before Town's win. Barrow Hill MC's 3-1 win at Grassmoor Sports Reserves keeps their hopes alive, goals from Ryan Ordidge, Mark Vine and Reece Nuthall moving them to within a point of New Whitt.

There were contrasting fortunes for the two clubs vying to become runners-up in THREE with AFC Bolsover winning their final game of the season to retain second place. Josh Parfitt, Ryan Capuano, Ashley Scattergood and Joe Serendynski's goals beating Red Lion Whitt Moor. Third placed Dronfield Woodhouse should, on paper at least, have beat lowly Hopflower Athletic but Athletic defied the odds by holding them to a 1-1 draw Dean Hutchinson scoring for Athletic, Liam Mottram for Woodhouse. Woodhouse now need to win their final game against Hollingwood Athletic by at least four goals to finish above Barrow Hill.

Dronfield Miners hit the top of FOUR with a 2-0 win over Lowgates Sports, Oli Wood scoring both goals. Miners lead is two points with one game left to play, Steelmelters and Woodthorpe Inn are four points behind with five games remaining.

On Thursday night FIVE champions Clowne Wanderers Reseves just edged out Palterton Sporting Club 4-3 in a close fought game however their was nothing close about their game with Brampton Brewery as they battered them 9-1. Jackson headed the scorers list with three goals closely followed by Cooper and Peake who scored twice, Voutsinas and Boyle once. Also in this division Gate Inn North Wingfield drew 2-2 with Palterton Sporting Club.

Only two games in SIX which produced fifteen goals, eight in one seven in the other. Hasland WMC and Holmehall 2ND drew 4-4, Kirkland, Lowe and Rawson twice for Hasland, Watkins two Bassett and Cooke for Holmehall and Dronfield Wanderers won 4-3 at Markham Arms, McCarty two, Norie and an own goal for a Wanderers, Taylor one, Gregory two for Arms.

In SEVEN the top two, Duckmanton Community and Oxcroft Utd played each other and drew 2-2. The draw leaves Duckmanton three points ahead of Utd with the former having two games to play the latter three. On target for Duckmanton were Johnson and Sheppard, Grayson scoring both Oxcroft goals. At the other end of the table Spartans won for only the the third time, comfortably beating Grassmoor Sports Reserves 4-1 with Dan Wainwright scoring twice, Smith and Miles once. Mick Lunn hit a hat trick for Claycross Miners and Diners who beat Boot and Shoe 7-3, Garry Lowe scoring two, Rickie Fullwood and Craig Young one.
