On a busy day in the NAPIT League Creswell Black Diamond made the short trip up the road to Clune Street Clowne to take on hosts Clowne Wanderers and beat them by three goals to nil, a victory that moved them off the foot of the ONE table. In TWO Crispin Casuals are still looking for a first win of the season following a 5-2 defeat by Clowne Wanderers Reserves.
THREE leaders Renishaw MW's fine form continued with a hard fought odd goal in five win at Hollingwood Athletic in which Dan Talbot scored twice, Sam Noon once. Second placed Newbold eased to a 6-2 victory over Red Lion Whitt Moor. Tom Newman scored twice, Jack Howdle once as Pilsley Comminuty and Hady Villa both battled well but it was the former who came out on top by three goals to one. Oaks FC moved up to third as Dan Duquemin, Jon Heston and Josh Thomas netting.
In FOUR Lloyd Amissah scored four for AFC Castle who outplayed Club FC to win 7-2. Joining Amissah on the score sheet were Gary Beckett, Carl Germany and Joe Palmer. Brimington Utd Shoes followed up last weeks excellent 6-2 win with a close 3-2 victory at Brampton Oak Sports,
Craig Buchanen scoring twice, Andrew Mosley once.
Renishaw Rangers were in top form in FIVE, the leaders hammering Glapwell Gladiators 12-1. They took the lead after just twelve seconds and the goals just kept coming, eight of them by half time. Second placed Grassmoor Sports' Andy Woolvern hit a hat trick in a 5-2 success at Royal Oak Rangers, Tony Stevens and Ash Walters scoring goals number four and five. Britannia Rose were 6-2 winners at Bolsover Town, Sam Allcock scoring three, Chris Graham two and Reece Johnson one. There was little to choose between Harleys Scarlets and opponents Dronfield Wanderers as their contest ended level at 1-1.
Just one game in SIX and Whitcotes Wanderers won it in style, beating Furnace Hill Hurricanes 3-1, Lee Wright scoring a couple.
In SEVEN a high scoring game was won 5-3 by hosts Markham Arms who beat Anchor Clowne. Arms scorers were Danny Dodds who had a fine game scoring four and Connor Kirk. The other game between Newbold Community Football Training and Ye Olde Oak Inn ended all square at 2-2, Ant and Andy Brown scoring for NCFT, Gavin Sambrook twice for Olde Oak.
In the Alma Cup a goal each for Webster and Whitton earned Tibshelf Town a 2-1 win over Dronfield Victoria, in the Chatsworth Matt Towndrow hit a treble as AFC North Wingfield beat New All Inn 5-4 in a nine goal thriller whilst in the Hutson Mark Vine scored twice as Britannia Tupton beat Dronfield Town by four goals to one
