The second round of the Derbyshire Senior and Junior Cup's took place on Sunday with the league's clubs enjoying mixed fortunes. in the senior section FC Britannia looked particularly impressive as the cruised to a 7-0 win at The Bessington Carriage with Nico Degirolamo scoring three of the goals, Callum Lytham weighing in with a couple, Sam Bartram and Will Harcourt one each. Also looking good were NAPIT TWO leadersAFC Bolsover who performed superbly to oust NAPIT ONE side Eckington Boys in a game that produced nine goals, six of them going Bolsover's way, the six coming from Josh Parfitt who blasted a treble, Jack Weaver who scored two and Daley Furness. Hepthorne Lane also beat fellow NAPIT League opposition in the form of Black Swan by a 4-0 margin, Matt Edinboro, Keiran Marsh, Joesph Stone and Matt Benniston with the goals, Joining them in the third round will be Renishaw MW who knocked out RB Sinfin in fine style by seven goals to two, Dan Talbot scoring four of the goals, New Whitt who beat Arboretom 3-2, Wingerworth BMB who beat Dronfield Woodhouse 3-0 after extra time, Joe Newton scoring twice, Jerome Wilks once. Hasland Wanderers also go through as opponents Killamarsh Juniors Athletic could not raise a side as do Tibshelf Town.

In the Junior Cup Gate Inn North Wingfield defeated Harley Scarlets 7-5 after extra time, Dale Hagerty amazingly scoring five of the winning goals. New All Inn beat Jubilee Rangers 4-2, Ash Taylor scoring twice, New Whitt B won 2-1 at Tappers, Dan Lock scoring twice, Andy Woolvern hit a hat trick against Newbold but still ended up on the losing side as Dan Keenan went one better, scoring four as Newbold won 6-4, Duckmanton Community who won 4-2 at New Bridge, Garth Bally scoring a couple and Oaks FC who beat Beehive 3-2.

In the league just one game took place in NAPIT ONE as Creswell Black Diamond made the short trip to Clune Street to take on hosts Clowne Wanderers. It turned out to be a day to remember for Black Diamond's Ross Whitehead and Ricky Machin who both hit hat tricks as there side eased to a 6-2 victory.

Another player celebrating scoring a hat trick was Grassmoor Sports Grant Mitchell, his treble coming against Red Lion Whitt Moor in NAPIT TWO. The win was a comprehensive one as Ash Morton, Lee Naughton, Rob Holland and Gary Chambers joined Mitchell on the score sheet in the 7-0 win.

In THREE Clowne Wanderers Reserves moved up to second following an excellent 3-1 win at AFC Spital, Mathew Robson yet another hat trick man, Hady Villa took on Steelmelters Arms Killamarsh and easily beat them 6-2, Villa's Wayne Coupe coming within an ace of registering a double hat-trick, scoring five, Andy Laming adding the sixth whilst Creswell Black Diamond Reserves won 3-1 at Hollingwood Athletic.

Ash Crowther and Mark Woods were the match winners for Chesterfield Arms in the only game played in FOUR, there goals canceling out Club FC's Aaron Large goal as Arms won 2-1.

Travellers Clowne were in devastating goal scoring form in FIVE as they took on Palterton Sporting Club and they had to be as they themselves conceded four times. However goals from Phil Pearson, who scored three, Robin Holmes, Dan Stringer, Ross Taylor, Wayne Kirk and Gary Monaghan more than made up for the defensive frailties and guided them to a first league victory, winning 9-4.
Brimington Utd and Holmehall 1st are level on points in second and third places respectively following victories over Spartans and Barlow Kingston Rovers. Utd took on Sparans at Castle Leisure with Chris Marshall, Nathan Webber and Alex Howard on target in a 3-0 victory whilst Holmehall's Alex Wildman scored both goals in the 2-1 win over B.K.R. Old Whittington MW beat Renishsw Rangers 3-0, Ben Moss, Danny Rigby and Luke Hollis scoring.

A goal each from Aaron Montague and Scott Martin earned NPIT SIX leaders Brampton Rovers Reserves a 2-1 victory against Dronfield Wanderers, the win extending Rovers lead to six points at the top. The other two games in this division were also close fought affairs with Holmehall 2nds beating Hasland Community Eagles 2-0, Chris and Marcel Cooke scoring and Furnace Hill Hurricanes sharing the spoils in a 2-2 draw with Hasland WMC, Keith Parkes and Adam Seward scoring for the Hurricanes, Mark Rawson twice for Hasland.

Brimington Utd Shoes remain in command of SEVEN following their seventh straight win which came against Charlies Clay Cross Athletic by a 3-0 margin. Shoes led 2-0 at the break and rarely looked troubled as goals from Mark Mowbray, who scored twice and Craig Oldfield secured the win. Its took awhile to materialize but Ye Old Nags Head's first league victory has finally been secured at the expense of Brimington Club whom they beat by the odd goal in seven, Jack Smith scoring twice, Martin Cox and James Thompson once each. An excellent game at the Dimple between Darley Dale Red Star and Renishaw Rangers TFC was decided in dramatic fashion, just ten seconds from time. There was little to choose between the sides early in the game but Red Star took the lead after fifteen minutes through Tom Ford. They then spurned a glorious opportunity to go two up, missing a penalty kick before Ford doubled their advantage with a superb strike from distance. In the second half Rangers began to assert themselves and deservedly pulled a goal back after the home keeper failed to deal with a speculative shot, dropping the ball at the feet of Josh Shipman who prodded home and as their improvement continued Shipman looked to have earned them a point as he equalized just two minutes from time. However to their credit Red Star didn't give up and their efforts were rewarded as Josh Raybould finished in style to clinch the victory in the dying seconds.
