If you need to request a postponement due non availability of players, coach or manager under league rule 20(E)(v) please complete and return this form to League Fixtures Secretary Stuart Bean stewpot61@btinternet.com
PLEASE NOTE: Under league rules all postponement requests must be submitted no less than SEVEN DAYS before the fixture and we are only obliged to accept a maximum of two requests per season from any team. Any subsequent requests may be referred to the management committee for a decision that could ultimately lead to a match being conceded and a charge issued against your club for failing to play the game.
League Rule 20(E)(v) : Any Club unable to fulfil a fixture due to lack of players or non-availability of manager/coach may submit a written postponement request to the League Fixture Secretary no less than 7 days prior to the fixture. Any requests for postponements from a team due to lack of available players or non-availability of manager/coach shall be submitted to the Management Committee who will only grant the request provided that it meets the requirements of Rule 20E(ii). Any other requests in addition to those permitted under rule 20E(ii) will only be granted in in exceptional circumstances, (this does not include requests due to organised school activities).
Should a club need to submit a postponement request less than 7 days prior to the fixture, this request shall be submitted to the Management Committee for consideration. The Management Committee may order the fixture to be played at a venue to be determined, award the points and, or may result in a fine (in accordance with the Fines Tariff).
PLEASE NOTE : After 31st March a request will only be granted in exceptional circumstances and due to the backlog of fixtures this season almost all requests after this point will lead to games being conceded.
